Mary Two-Axe Earley, a kick ass Mohawk and Oneida women's rights activist. Growing up on the reserve of Kahnawake in Quebec, she moved New York to find work. Marrying an Irish American, she lost her status. Eventually, she became a leading light in indigenous women's rights.
