Anti-Vaxers Were Smarter 100 Years Ago

History doesn't always repeat itself, but it does rhyme. This week we jump back 100 years ago, to a time when Toronto was beseiged by a deadly virus, Small Pox.


With public health figures wanting to push mass vaccination, a very successful anti-vax movement was born. A 'viral' press campaign (letters not tweets) combined with arrogant health officials heavily impressed by health 'influencers' hampered efforts to vaccinate the people of Toronto.
